"That would be a wise choice." Being familiar with their outbursts was part of the job, after all. They were also busy being preoccupied with their own problems. That made it all the more interesting to watch. "We don't need to garner their attention just yet..."

During the simultaneous pause, a hardened sideglance shared the same effect. Julian gave a pitiful auto-tuned whimper, sinking down behind the Nobody as he switched to power saving mode.

A genuine compliment came from Xehanort, one that was well-deserved for the progress made. Old memories and past experiences needed to be put aside; unfortunately, it wasn't as easy as it once was. Xemnas accepted it without faltering, bowing his head slightly. "Of course. This was what needed to be done...and we shall continue to proceed."

At the mention of the Seventh, he stared at the ground.

Growing paranoia. Intense resentment. Wrath unleashed. Inevitable attack.

That was the result when an animal was cornered.

He knew he was going too far. He pushed Saix to the breaking point. He let him strike.

Once. Twice. Several times.

He knew. He let it happen.

There was no regret for his actions.

And, ironically, it cleared his head.

The stoic mask betrayed a ghost of an empty smirk. "I have no problem with this."
